Meadowbrook Park

Is a great place to spend time with your family, friends, and pets. The park features three miles of paved trails through the woods and prairie grass. There is also a large pond where you can rent paddle boats and fishing poles (fishing requires a valid state fishing license) and next to that is an enclosed shelter house which can be reserved for a fee.

Within a short drive from many area hotels, there is a warming shelter with electric heat, picnic tables, and several grills that can be reserved for a fee which can be used to have birthday parties, family reunions, or other celebrations. In addition, the enclosed shelter house has electricity and one grill.

This section of Urbana, IL is very quiet and serene with plenty of shrubs, trees, and wildflowers to keep you busy for hours. If you are looking to get out of the house for some fresh air without having to do anything too-intensive Meadowbrook Park is a great place to go.

The park also features an outdoor amphitheater which can be reserved for a fee. The amphitheater offers the perfect place for live performances, weddings, and other events.
